I know that one of the most important keys to success is mindset…and within that lies knowing WHY you are doing something. Often times we get excited about a new business idea and we dream of all the money we can make or this or that. However, you must reach deep down and find out WHY you want this.

You must have emotional attachment to your goals and business decisions. One reason is sometimes things don’t always work out as planned; you meet with obstacles, delays, frustration and resistance and this is when you must be totally and absolutely clear on WHY you are pursuing that goal.

Some might say “my WHY is $10,000 a month” or “$50,000 a month” or sometimes general like that. You need to peel the onion skin back on this and understand WHY this amount of money is important. What will you do with this money, what change will occur in your life, etc.

Knowing your WHY will get you through the tough times, those bumps in the road and just when fear, doubt and indecision may creep in; remember your WHY in order to pull through and keep going.

For others recognition may be your motivator or simply accomplishment or doing something for others or belonging to something bigger than you, etc, etc.

Take some quiet time and write WHY at the top of the page. Then begin to quickly and in rapid fire fashion write what comes to mind. Then go back and see which statements resonate most with you and go deeper and understand further WHY those are important; get to the core.

Get emotional and I can assure you this will allow you to see success that you have never seen before.

Know your WHY and you will accomplish much in your life!
